Werner Finley chillers for concrete batching application are designed to maintain the water at the desired temperature with stability up to +/-0.1 deg C. Liquid refrigerant enters one side of the heat exchanger and absorbs heat from the batch water flowing on the other side. The refrigeration process runs continuously, with the water exiting the chiller at the desired process temperature. Once cooled, the water immediately blends with the mixture of cement and aggregate.
