MRI scanning has been gaining a lot of importance in the last few decades in the healthcare sector. Today the doctors need precise scan reports in order to diagnose and prescribe effective treatment.
At the heart of the MRI machine is a helium-based cooling system that maintains required low temperatures for the magnet which is the main component of the scanning device. The helium cooling system generates substantial heat while in operation. If this heat is not removed equally efficiently the helium being a very low-density gas starts to leak into the atmosphere and this can cause two major problems - one raise in temperature of the magnet and two loss of helium which is a rare and scarcely available gas. This can cause not only stoppage in scanning but also a major breakdown of the MRI scanner. In addition to the helium system the MRI also has lots of electrical / electronic devices attached to it which generate a lot of heat. On order to keep the MRI continuously operational and free from probable breakdowns we need a robust chiller that can recirculate chilled water and remove the excess heat from the helium system as well as the electrical and electronic systems in the MRI.
Werner Finley has a specific range that is designed taking into consideration criticality of the application as well as the requirement of reliability
These chillers are designed using the world's best components and comes with built in redundancy for the refrigeration and hydraulic systems of the chiller. These chillers are designed to operate in outdoor harsh environments and also in places of high altitude and humidity.
The chillers have two variants, one with standard fixed type and the second is inverter type. From our case studies it's evident an inverter type chiller for mri application the user saved at least 30% on energy costs thereby helping reduce carbon footprints.
The criticality of this application being very high, all chillers in this range are iot enabled and can be chosen. Werner Finley is one of the major suppliers of chillers for the MRI applications including big brands like Phillips, seimens, Boston IV, Hitachi etc
We have widespread professionally managed service department to swiftly attend to service complaints in more than 60 locations across India.

Werner finley manufacture a wide range of Printing Chillers and have been successful in fulfilling stringent requirements of quality, performance and reliability in the printing industry.
Usually, printers require a cooling capacity between 7kw to 105kw(2-30tr).
The printing chiller continuously recirculates chilled water through the rollers of the machine, and this led to a reduction in stretching and bleeding of the ink. This in turn decreases the time needed to print which improves efficiency and leads to higher quality of print and cost savings.
Werner Finley is an approved partner for supply of chiller in India for most reputed printing machine OEM’s and we have built an efficient service network that covers almost 60 locations with service engineers across the country.
How does the Printing Chiller work?
During printing, heat is generated by several processes. Toner printing requires heat to fuse toner to the paper. UV ink printing cures the ink by use of a UV light which generates considerable heat. Heat is also generated by the friction of continuously running printing material over the rollers. To avoid damage or downtime, temperature regulation is vital. Using the right printing chiller during the printing process ensures equipment runs to its full capacity and more efficiently. Printing chillers protect products and machinery from the inevitable risk of overheating–saving you time, money, and frustration.
