the linear accelerator is the device most used for external beam radiation treatments for patients with cancer. This machine delivers high-energy x-rays or electrons to the region of the patient's tumour. The x-ray tubes, however, create enormous amounts of heat. The tubes require a non-stop cooling solution to function properly.

The linear accelerator is one of the most critical applications for a chiller. The treatment itself goes on for hours and during that time chiller should not break down or shut down either due to issues that there in the chiller or even somebody by mistake turning it off. when the patient is undergoing treatment, by that time there is not should be any disturbance on the chiller by the cooling time.
