The production of textiles from materials such as wool, cotton, linen, silk, and synthetic fibres require a consistent temperature and humidity during each process as these parameters will affect the quality and productivity of the textiles being produced. And the most important thing about using a chiller in textile/ garment industries is humidity control. Most of the processes in this industry are relative humidity dependent and require immediate humidity control without affecting other parameters like temperature, pressure, or flow rate.
The air humidity level affects the properties of the yarn and its workability a low relative humidity leads to shrinkage while high humidity can cause static electricity and fibres to stick together. Therefore, in some cases, it is necessary to bring down this value further to prevent these problems from occurring, adiabatic systems are ideal as they can simultaneously cool and humidify the air.
When the air is too dry, the fibres lose their elasticity, are thinner, and fragile and tendency to break friction also increases, which limits the sliding of the fibres on the machine. This can cause machine downtime, require manual interventions, and therefore result in a productivity reduction.
Over 30 plus year of experience, Werner Finley has emerged as one of the most preferred cooling solution providers for textile industries and other manufacturing segments. Werner Finley chiller is designed to handle the needs of textile industries. It can keep the relative humidity of the air within preset limits while maintaining a stable temperature, which improves efficiency and ensures the best quality of the finished product. Our Chiller Capacity is based on client requirements, and it is very easy for clients to talk to our sales team about their needs, or even better.
